Well, that’s it. The boxes are packed, the car is loaded down with stuff, and I dragged the mop behind me as I walked out the door and locked my apartment for the last time.
The California Adventure is over. In front of me are 3000 miles of interstate highway and a couple of weather systems to dodge. And an entirely new adventure on the East Coast. I can only hope it’s as good as this one was.

Have a safe trip. I hope you have someone driving with you to keep you company. Drop us a note when you can. I hope you’ll continue blogging once you’re setting in at DC!

December 19th, 2007 at 8:48 amWell, I guess that’s it. We never did fully, as a pair anyway, take full advantage of your proximity to downtown bars.
So I guess I will have to come crash on your couch in DC and do some Nation’s Capitol Caliber Drinking. Definitely a step up from that whole state capitol deal, especially with Arnie in charge. Maybe it was better to not invite that disappointment in anyway.
No, I have no idea where that came from, and my eyes are so crossed from the peanut butter fudge tasting and late hour that I have no idea if I even used the correct spelling of “capitol” (capital?!?).
Have a very safe drive and fabulous holiday. Hugs.
